The club gained a new chairman in Duncan McKee who took over from his predecessor Stephen Harvey. Many changes at committee level over the following years ensued.

Ste Davies stepped away from the club after guiding his team all the way from U7's through to U18's. Tony McGarr stepped down from the academy after decades supporting the growth and development of Aspull's young footballers excellently under the Aspull Juniors banner.

Efforts to regain FA Charter Standard status became successful before the COVID-19 pandemic which was a huge success for the club. Club secretary Joanne Hammond was pivotal to making this achievement possible.

As part of the FA Charter Standard, every single coach at the club was now Level 1 FA Qualified as a minimum, with some coaches obtaining further qualifications. Safeguarding, emergency aid, futsall, goalkeeping and many more CPD also takes place.

The club is widely recognised as a pillar of the Aspull community and during this period the club took over control of the ongoing maintenance of its home ground at the Aspull Moors from the local council. Tractors and equipment were purchased and work began to improve the pitch conditions under the leadership of the committee, dedicated groundsman in Tony Dwight, Mark Banks, Tony Bailey and other willing volunteers.
